Lansford O. (Lans) Ireson, Jr.
Mr. Ireson was born in Dallas, Texas in 1953. He is a graduate of The University of Houston (B.S., 1976), Stephen F. Austin State University (M.B.A., 1978), and South Texas College of Law (J.D., 1987), where he was a member of the Order of Lytae and Phi Delta Phi. He is board certified in personal injury law. He is admitted to practice before the Supreme Court of Texas, the United States District Courts for the Southern and Eastern Districts of Texas, the United States Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit, and the United States Supreme Court. Mr. Ireson is a member of the Houston Bar Association, the State Bar of Texas, the Bar Association of the Fifth Federal Circuit, and the American Bar Association.
Mr. Ireson is an experienced trial attorney who has successfully represented clients ranging from individuals to large, international corporations. His clients' cases have involved allegations of premises liability, products liability, toxic torts, construction defects, general negligence, gross negligence, and violations of state and federal employment laws. Mr. Ireson has been recognized as one of Houston's top lawyers by H Texas Magazine and also selected as a Super Lawyer in the Texas Monthly magazine article featuring the top 5% of attorneys in the state.
Mr. Ireson is a licensed pilot; thus, he can efficiently represent his client's interests in areas not served by commercial airlines. In addition to flying, he enjoys riding motorcycles and playing tennis. He is married and has two fantastic sons.
